Chad Weller

I had to throw this picture of Chad in here. This is one of my many favorite pictures of him. He glances at this stuff here and there, and so if he paid really close attention, he would probably tell me I was silly to put this on here. I love my Mr. Scruffy. This was in Bear Lake after we had been married for one year. He still looks great!!! Love ya Babe!!

Our Lake Powell vacation 2008

This is great! Chad and Jeremy and Evan had the responsibilty of cleaning up the portable pooper. I am so glad it was not me or any of you. I really felt for them. I would of just thrown the thing away and bought a new one, but why WASTE money. If you notice poor Evan is covering his nose with his shirt because of the smell. Anne and I were sitting in the boat laughing and taking pictures for them to remember this special moment at Lake Powell.

One of the thousands of beautiful sunsets at Lake Powell. This was on our way back from gassing the boat up and getting our ice cream fix and using the real toilet. It just all makes you go AHHH!!!
You've got to love the sky in the evenings. It is always so beautiful. And then in the middle of the night the trillion stars that are out. It is unbelievable. That is why I love Lake Powell, the beauty of it all.

This was Evan, Erin, Ziq, and Andres on the aqua scooters! They are alot of fun to ride. Infact I had to get on one to get myself into the water. That was my way of getting use to the water. It wasn't cold but that official first dip in is always striking.

There goes Ezequiel jumping into the water and Erin following next to him. They were cute together. They would count and then jump at the same time. They thouroughly enjoyed it.

This was where we camped. Our official camping spot. It was a nice spot too. If you see across the way , that is where everyone was cliff jumping. All we had to do was swim there, it wasn't as far as it looks, and they would climb up and jump in. It was about 12 ft. high. I have to say that I would never jump. I did once at 5 ft. and it freaked me out. So I just sat in the water and enjoyed watching the rest. My 6 yr. old Ezequiel was even jumping..CRAZY!!!!

This was the writing on the wall of the Indians. On the way up to our hike, we ran across a snake with a black tongue. It was scary looking. The rest of the time I was paranoid and had to keep looking on the ground and in the bushes that we were passing through. I don't like snakes at all.
Tio Jeremy coming out of the house underground.

This is Ziq, Andres, and their cousins, Erin, Luke,Jesse,Lorrin, and Amelia. We took hike up to see the Indian writings on the rock wall and there was also an area of their living quarters. It was pretty awesome. They were pretty high, I can't imagine raising little ones up there.

Grandma Kathy and Ken hanging out on the camp site. Rlaxing just before we started to have dinner.

Ziq enjoying the boat ride to find a fun place to go and swim.

Our Lake Powell trip 2008

Wow! I love Lake Powell. What an incredible time to go at the end of September. It felt like we had the place to ourselves, only sharing with the lizards of course. It was perfect weather and just beautiful all around. It was a great time!!

Nelly had some of Danny's friends from high school come like Dave Tilby and she cooked some of her awesome food and a huge ice cream cake. I love her cooking!! It was a fun night!!

This is my sister Liza and I at Danny's birthday! She loves her niece Izabel so much, I have to say that I do get spoiled with her wanting to hold her all the time or watching her all the time.!!

My Brother Danny's 40th Birthday

The tradition in the Martinez family is to spread ice cream or the cake in the birthday persons face, but he was carefully watching us and so Nelly just grabbed the whip cream bottle and walked towards him and then sprayed it all over his head. It was great! Happy 40th Danny!!
